I’m finally back to my website.  I have been so busy, there has been little chance to update the website.  I’ve got a number of photos ready to go up, I just need to find the time.  I decided to start 2014 with my recent shots during a snowy day here in central Kentucky.  I’ve worked to get a feeding station set up in the back yard and have a number of setups ready to take a few bird shots.  I am looking forward to a few shots of flying birds before the winter is over.

An American tree sparrow in the fresh snow. Each year in peak cold of the winter, I have a handful of tree sparrows show up. This year, I have more than 30. Nikon D800E with AFS Nikkor 600mm F/4 VRII.

A Female northern cardinal approaches the feeders. The two dozen or so female cardinals were my most cooperative subjects. Nikon D800E with AFS Nikkor 600mm F/4 VRII.
