Louisville Zombie Attack 2013

The "Billy the Puppet" character was back for a return visit to the Louisville Zombie Attack in 2013. This is still my favorite costume from the Zombie Attack. He navigated his way among the thousands of zombies walking on his tricycle. Nikon D4 with AFS Nikkor 70-200 f/2.8 VRII.

The Louisville Zombie attack has become one of my favorite events to photograph in the area.  Each August 29th, thousands of people dress up and begin walking Bardstown Road in Louisville at 8:29pm.  It is truly a spectacle to see.  Costumes range fom a little fake blood to some very elaborate costumes.  Everyone has a great time and thousands of people attend.  One great thing for me is that Zombies LOVE to have their picture made.  These are a few shots from the evening.

Another one of my favorite costumes. This guy had to be hot in this costume in late August but it sure was great. Nikon D4 with AFS Nikkor 70-200 f/2.8 VRII.The Zombified version of the Grinch made an appearance. Nikon D4 with AFS Nikkor 70-200 f/2.8 VRII.

Another one of the return characters from last year. It's amazing that you instantly recognize a person, even after a year's time. Nikon D4 with AFS Nikkor 70-200 f/2.8 VRII.

Definitely not the scariest zombie out there. Nikon D4 with AFS Nikkor 70-200 f/2.8 VRII.
